There are two types of people in this world; those who love Paris Hilton and those who take pride in penning or mouthing against this oh-so-perfect socialite. Well, I’m a die-hard fan of Paris Hilton and I’m glad to be one because those who are not her fans (read: the poor souls who waste their precious time trying to write off Paris) are, according to me, a bunch of confused souls doing their best to malign her for whatever reason that strikes their fancy and ultimately, have no choice but to swallow their own words and laugh sheepishly.
Well, the latest one to represent the latter confused category is none other than MSN’s Christopher Turner who recently went through a soul searching trip and included Paris in his best-dressed list for her outfit for the MTV Movie Awards. Now, its really painful to acknowledge the superiority of someone whom you sincerely loathe, and that’s what happened with Turner. Although he tried to salvage his sensibility by shifting the focus on the super-cute Betsey Johnson dress that Paris wore to the MTV Awards nite, I’m sure he’s still rational enough to accept the fact that there is no such thing like a good or a bad dress, its the wearer who makes it a hit or a miss! And Paris is definitely one celebrity who can work wonders for any outfit she wears.
I know I have done enough damage (by writing this bit) to invite some harsh words and comments from all those disturbed souls, but then again, its always better to fight with others than to fight with your own self!

Completely agree with you when you point out that it’s after all the wearer who makes a dress look like a million bucks or a rag and she is one person who pull off a rag and make it look like a million bucks. You can poor mouth her all you want about anything but if there is one thing she does right, it’s fashion all the way!

Nevertheless I will agree with Asmita that the lady has the IQ of a sleep-deprived monkey but one must admit what’s good about her and that is her deep sense of style!

So, naturally and logically, we should assume that Mayuri has taken the best specimen from each section of life.
And hence, we can conclude that Paris Hilton—> top socialite/celebrity/fashion icon...and practically everything connected to fashion and style!!
To hell with IQ Asmita, IQ is just a tool to shortlist candidates. If Paris can earn a place with all of these people (in Mayuri’s post), it definitely says something.

Thanks for actually understanding what I did. I really did the thing you mentioned-take the patriarchs of their respective fields and then prove that they are like us-ordinary humans.
As far as Paris is concerned..I must state that I have a bit of grudge and prejudice against her(which of course is banal sometimes) but yes she knows how to steal the show with her style sometimes if not always.

They seek attention!!! And the same goes for Paris. And I presume, IQ is not needed (nor IQ is reflected) in/by both the case.
Everyone needs attention, including me and, of course, you. The attention seeking process starts as soon as a child is born...haven’t you raised hell as a kid just to seek attention of your parents and dear ones? Does that make you dumb? I don’t think so.
Of course, Paris being a top celebrity, her circle is not confined to her family n friends. She has her own way of seeking attention and she has full liberty to do so. Those who love her can enjoy her actions and adore her...those who don’t find her attractive can cry hoarse. Not a big deal. After all, not everyone is loved by everyone. But fortunately, that doesn’t make or break a person.
She’s got the bod and loves flaunting it. Whats the harm in it? Especially, when people like me and you are always waiting eagerly for her latest act.
