It seems that Paris Hilton doesn’t like free publicity. At least, that is what her reaction to John McCain using her image alongside Barack Obama, in an ad, makes us believe. It is true that McCain did not ask for her permission before committing the sin. But who would have thought that someone, who has made a career through free publicity, would ever mind it. Is it that she would have rather preferred a solo appearance with Obama than having Britney Spears for company? Or did she take offense to Obama being referred to as the ‘biggest celebrity in the world’. But the truth might just be that, the professional that Paris is, she never let go an opportunity like this one. This makes one wonder about the cyclic nature of publicity and its intrinsically intricate manipulation.

The way McCain is doing his campaign means that he has already lost the competition. It is a good sign, then.
Yup, McCain is the sidekick in this campaign. He doesn’t have a popular support base like Obama. His only hope is the reactionary section of population and here race and Obama’s unconventional leadership can be played with.
But she charges half a mil USD minimum just to grace a social function! LOL
The psychology behind it is simple: she can generate more publicity by reacting negatively to this alone. :)
If I had a million, she will have that too. I think she is the perfect ’kitten’ to have.
;)
