Well, well. Look what we have here. Apparently Paris Hilton’s list of admirers is shortening by the day (oh the shock!) and the casting call for her new BFF-finding reality show has returned some rather gloomy figures. Even though Paris had stressed over and over that she would prefer to have only a handpicked few to vouch for the position of her BFF, I’m sure even she wouldn’t have expected that only 40 to 50 people would actually show up for the audition. I’d like to blame it on the way people tend to read between lines. I mean Paris HAD said on her MySpace page that she would not entertain any ‘open calls for the show,’ and that ‘every event is exclusive and hand-picked by invitation only’” because the sensitive soul that she is, she didn’t want her ‘potential BFFs to have to wait in long open-call lines.’ Now that’s bound to bum a few blokes off, isn’t it? Anyway, to find a silver lining in all this gloom, the good news still remains that with such a dearth of participants for the new show, we might even be facing a situation where Paris will be able to find herself a good, swanky new BFF without having to go through the rigors of actually shooting the darned reality show! Hilton keeps things interesting at The 15th Annual Race to Erase MS
You want to generate buzz, invite Paris Hilton and leave the rest to her. She will make sure that somehow, by crossing lines of social conduct to writing her name in hotel rooms, gyrating belly in a beauty contest or proclaiming herself to be a youth icon, falling on her face in Prague or wearing two purses, she will just manage to get all the media attention. This time around at California’s Grand Hyatt, this socialite turned up to support the 15th Annual Race to Erase MS in an outfit that did nothing for her. It made her look flat-chested, the were garish, the shoes were not co-ordinated and oh god! Will someone take that hairband off that girl’s head? Paris Endorses Doll Brand: Another Bout of Narcissism?
Paris Hilton – the name never ceases to amuse me. This girl can endorse each and everything. It is a kids’ product this time. She has gone to the extent of endorsing a popular German fashion doll ‘Steffi Love’. I agree that both the doll and the diva are supposed to be fashionable, but I cannot just understand how she is perfect as an idol for innocent kids. I think, other celebrities would have been a better alternative. Well, let us see if the sales zoom after the addition of Paris’ image to the brand. I sincerely think that it would not make much difference. Wonder when is she going to stop with her histrionics? I tell you, even Nostradamus would pass this question! After floating around the double wedding idea, she is all set to become a mom now. She was heard telling the Sun, “I have a lot of beautiful animals that I look after and I feel I would have a lot to give my children.” Yeah right! Those are big words coming out of that woman’s mouth who had foresaken her dogs for months on an account of renovation. Hilton sisters go shopping with mommy dear and ‘Mother’s Day’ contest winner
No matter what may be the reason, but it’s for sure that Paris Hilton always manages to make headlines. And this time she has done the same on Mother’s Day. The heiress, sister Nicky and mom Kathy spent the Mother’s Day by taking out the fortunate winner of Mother’s Day contest for shopping. The trio along with the winner were seen admiring stuff from Kitson and Nanette Lepore Boutique on May 10, 2008. The winner, sporting a tee that read ‘PARIS’ went on browsing and purchasing several apparels with the celebrity clan. Well, I must say that it must be the winner’s best shopping till date as the Hilton gang paid all her bills. Paris looked stunningly gracious in a yellow, frilly and embroidered frock as she gave company to the winner. Her younger sister, Nicky was more casually dressed in blue jeans and a stripped baby-doll top. However, seeing Paris on the shopping spree I wonder whether she did not get time to shop for herself since she began dating Benji Madden. I think the duo must have been radically busy in themselves as that’s why Paris ended up in buying more stuff for herself than the winner. Rumors are abuzz that socialite Paris Hilton and her latest boyfriend Benji Madden are engaged. The duo is incessantly fueling in their engagement rumors since they began dating each other some three months ago.
